Advantages of being a member of the German factoring association (Deutscher Factoring-Verband e.V.)
Being a member of the German factoring association (Deutscher Factoring-Verband e.V.) has several advantages:
Membership as quality label
Members of the association are allowed to use their membership as a kind of “quality label” in their business communication (letter head, adverts, etc.).
Current and continuous information on issues relevant for factoring
Through circular letters, e-mails and events of the association, members continuously receive information about issues which are relevant for factoring. The association dispatches around 70 circular letters each year exclusively and only to its members.
Participating in the association’s events
Members can also participate in all of the association’s events such as seminars/webinars and congresses on current issues and developments which take place when relevant and needed, often around twice a year. At these exclusive events only for members, members can discuss factoring-related and -specific topics with opinion formers and leaders such as legal and accounting experts.
Participating in continuing education courses
Members can also enrol their employees with different continuing education courses on factoring for a reduced fee. These courses and seminars take place at least twice a year and last around 1-2 days each.
Proactive lobbying for factoring
The association’s members as well as all factoring companies in Germany profit from the proactive lobbying activities which the association undertakes in relation to the tax, legal and economic parameters for factoring in Germany.
Proactive external communications
Moreover, members of the German factoring association (Deutscher Factoring-Verband e.V.) can use the extensive PR- and external communications activities of the association including media contacts in order to present factoring more comprehensively in the press.
