- Total turnover of the members of the German factoring association (Deutscher Factoring-Verband e.V.) in 2020: 279.2 billion Euro (first half-year 2021: 146.5 billion Euro)
- Number of factoring clients at the end of 2020: more than 80,000
- GDP penetration/factoring ratio (=ratio of purchased receivables to GDP) amounted to 8.4% of the total German GDP in 2020! This is something hardly anybody suspects.
- IWhen compared internationally, the German factoring ratio is still rather low: Belgium 18%, Spain 16%, Portugal 15.5%, Italy, the Netherlands and France 14% each.
- The association currently has 44 members which make up more than 98% of the factoring turnover generated by factoring companies which are members of an association in Germany.
